2014. gada 25. februārī, plkst. 11.00 Latvijas Biomedicīnas pētījumu un studiju centra mazajā zālē gaidāma prof. Eivinda Almaasa no Trondheimas Universitātes lekcija "A story of biological networks".
Systems biology is an interdisciplinary research field with a focus on developing quantitative methods to predict phenotypes of biological systems, such as the behavior of cells, tissues and organisms. For such a lofty goal to be achieved, it is necessary to focus on complex interactions -- the networks -- within a biological system of interest.
In this presentation, I will present key results from network biology studies conducted in my lab, ranging from analysis of gene-expression systems to metabolic networks.
